The Way You Move

Florence and the Machine - Heavy In Your Arms

I love this woman.
Immense passion and depth resonates through Ms. Welch's voice on this follow-up single to Lungs. The song drops with fervent ostentatiousness, portraying our heroin screaming on a misty and deserted moor, Kate Bush stylee but with a simply brilliant song. Theatre and drama bring this song to life with Florence orchestrating the lyrics through the moorland. Whilst being beautifully serene and modest, Florence surely has a long future ahead of her if she can return with such power dismissing any murmurs of 'the difficult second album'. Though only styled for Twilight this song has such ferocity and depth it seems too good to be just for a film. Having said that Twilight is one of the biggest film series ever (of which I have seen none) and I suppose Daft Punk have just done the soundtrack to Tron so maybe I shouldn't be so cynical of soundtracks. But that topic is for another day.
An epic tune.

Just watched the video for the first time. Black and white. Serious. Death. Very Twilight. I imagine.
