Wolfgang - Lions in Cages
This is right up my street. Wicked beat and a cheery old chorus. The perfect song to dance like a twerp to whilst on the treadmill. Kind of a summer anthem though. You picture a sun setting over Glastonbury when you hear this. And that's always a great sight. :)

Bashy - Make My Day
Oh. My. Days. The chorus is awful. Simply awful. Sampling 'Pump Up The Jam' by Technotronic?? Utterly bizarre! The verse is pretty good though, decent lyrics and a great bass line. However, as good as the verses are you will spend that time thinking about how crap the chorus is and why in God's name Bashy sampled such a shit 80's floorfiller. Let's face it. The original is barely acceptable when you are hammered at a family wedding, so it should not be allowed on commercial radio where people can hear it.

This band cannot put a foot wrong in my eyes. Genius' of the electronic dance world.
On the subject of Daft Punk who can forget Daft Hands....

Cannot believe this video has 44 million views!! Wow! I mean I account for about 50 on my own...but still.

NERD - Perfect Defect
Return of the smoothest R&B artists. Added twinkly sounds which good. Nothing fresh though, slight disappointment.

Not great. Forgettable. Not a hit. Like Ladyhawke, but not as good. And sounds like Sting.

Catchy, very Radio 2 friendly though. Not a bad little ditty. But will not do well with the kids due to his appaullingly uncool reputation.

Alexis Jordan - Happiness
Number 3 atm. Too much production on her voice, which is bizarre as she can clearly sing from winning American Idol... Not to keen on the 'quick, quick, quick' bit and the 'mmmm ummmm mmmm' bit is very 90's. A dated sound to the whole song.
