So I guess we all know that John Lewis couldn't afford Billy Joel then.
That doesn't mean that Fyfe’s version is bad, not by any stretch of the imagination. However it is essentially a carbon copy of the original.
Fyfe’s stunning voice is naked and exposed on this track which is a nice change as his voice often gets lost amongst the chaos of the Guillemots.
The song has such beautiful lyrics - everyone can take something from it; it is definitely a weepy one if it catches you at the wrong time.
It's a great advert for Fyfe's album 'Fly Yellow Moon' and will no doubt end up in the top 10. Good on Fyfe!
